The West Sussex County Times is a weekly newspaper (published Fridays) covering the whole of the Horsham district.

The West Sussex Design Commission was set up by West Sussex County Council as an independent body.  It responds to concerns about the expected type and volume of future building, and the community's reaction to this.  In addition it has a Wider Reference Network (WRN) which includes a great number of people who can offer help, advice and expertise.

Saxon Weald Homes, the main local housing association, owns and manages 4500 homes in the Horsham district.

Horsham in Bloom is improving the town by means of floral impact, landscaping, conservation and tackling litter & graffiti, involving as wide a cross-section of the community as possible and contributing to commercial success

The English Historic Towns Forum explores the issues impacting on historic towns, offering support and guidance on conservation area management, traffic and visitor management, urban regeneration and design, and other planning issues.
