Comments: |
I am writing on behalf of the Horsham
Society to object to this application.
Overdevelopment- Bearing in mind the open
nature of the surrounding development a
maximum of four dwellings on this site would
be more appropriate. Design- Whilst the
design of the houses is not unattractive the
Society objects to the proposed CREAM bricks
- not a colour appropriate for Horsham. We
note however that the roof tiles are to be
"similar in style to those that predominate
within the Horsham area"! Highway access &
parking - The 'swept path' diagrams show
that to achieve forward facing entry and
exit from the proposed properties
necessitates 'trespassing' on the
neighbouring property's parking area. Surely
not a satisfactory arrangement. The proposed
trees and bollards on the footway verge
could also present visibility problems. Who
will be responsible for upkeep and
maintenance? |
