15/0886 Land south of Woodlands
Chase, Sedgwick Lane
Dear Ms Wilkes,
I am writing on behalf of Horsham Society, for who I
am the Secretary of the Planning Sub Committee.
We wish to object to the Planning Application
DC/15/0886, detailing landscaping proposals for this
project, as it would seem that the submission has
been compromised due to the apparent felling of
certain mature trees which formed an essential part
of the original landscaping proposals. Whilst Tree
Preservation Orders have not been imposed on the
various mature trees, their removal will materially
affect the appearance of the proposed scheme. We
believe that the applicant should submit a further
proposal, incorporating mature tree planting to
replace those removed and to retain the essentially
rural appearance of this section of Sedgwick Lane.
