I am writing on behalf of the Horsham
Society to object sternly to this
application. This Listed Building is of
great importance being one of the four
earliest in West Sussex. The applicant has
not provided a Heritage Statement or Design
and Access Statement to justify the proposed
substantial works to the principal frontage
of the building. We understand that the
normal treatment in such cases would be an
application for secondary double glazing. It
is essential that the Council obtains
professional advice from a conservation
expert before considering this application
further. As currently submitted it must be
