Comments: |
I am writing on behalf of the Horsham
Society to object to this application. We
regard the design as poor, particularly in
regard to the proposed materials and the
fenestration. It looks like an office block
rather than residential flats and the
opportunity has been missed to produce a
landmark building of a design worthy of this
important site. The overall mass of the
building will make it look higher than it
would otherwise be. There is insufficient
car parking space for residents and their
visitors. Consideration should be given to
making Norfolk Road two-way from the
junction with North Street to the access to
this site. John Steele Secretary, Planning
