I am writing on behalf of the Horsham
Society. There is no objection in principle
to this application save for the fact that
it provides for only 10 affordable homes out
of a total of 57. This is way below the
number required under the Council's current
policy (22 affordable homes).There are no
special circumstances in this case which
would justify a departure from the policy,
indeed a simpler site for redevelopment
would be hard to find, and therefore the
application should be refused unless the
number of affordable homes is adjusted to a
significantly higher figure. John Steele
