Comments:

I am writing on behalf of the Horsham Society. There is no objection in principle to this application save for the fact that it provides for only 10 affordable homes out of a total of 57. This is way below the number required under the Council's current policy (22 affordable homes). There are no special circumstances in this case which would justify a departure from the policy, indeed a simpler site for redevelopment would be hard to find, and therefore the application should be refused unless the number of affordable homes is adjusted to a significantly higher figure.
