I am writing on behalf of the Horsham Society to object strongly to this application. We are opposed in principle to the incorporation into enclosed private gardens of land that has been left open as part of a planned development such as this. It reduces the general amenity and in this case would push development right up against the woodland, thus increasing the feeling of urbanisation. John Steele Planning Sub Committee
