I am writing on behalf of the Horsham Society to object to this application as currently proposed. We have no objection in principle to the provision of apartments over this building but we are concerned that the proposals do not adequately address the problems with the Blackhorse Way frontage. There does not appear to be any provision for waste bins. The current position regarding waste bins for Pret a Manger is not entirely satisfactory and we believe an opportunity may be lost for creating a significant improvement to to the Blackhorse Way elevation, including the ground floor, access and waste disposal arrangements.
