Comments:

I am writing on behalf of the Horsham Society to object most strongly to this application. It is clearly backland development of the most undesirable type. The proposed access onto Guildford Road would be via the narrow approach lane to the cemetery which was neither designed nor intended for this purpose. The size of the proposed house in relation to the site would amount to overdevelopment. The design is not in our view in keeping or of sufficient merit. If approved it would create an unacceptable precedent. John Steele Secretary, Planning Sub Committee
