I am writing on behalf of the Horsham Society to say that despite the revised plans we still object strongly to this application. This is a key town centre site in a prominent position. The Council must ensure that any new development is of appropriate size and an architectural asset to the town. The current proposal is too tall and its dark imposing mass will loom over Albion Way and dominate the view along North Street. In our view it is less successful than the original design, albeit that, also, was too tall. The height needs to be reduced by two storeys and the whole design lightened.
