I am writing on behalf of the Horsham Society to
object strongly to this application. The elevation
in question faces south and is visible from a
significant part of the Conservation Area. The
approved plan includes a window to relieve what
would otherwise be a blank and visually
unattractive wall. The proposal would in effect
turn the elevation into a large advertising
billboard quite unsuited to the building and its
location. It must remain as an active shopfront.
