I am writing on behalf of the Horsham Society to object to this application for change of use. The premises are within the specialist Quarter as defined in the Council’s draft Horsham Town Plan SPD. It is the Council’s policy to strengthen the independent niche and boutique retail, high quality restaurant and night economy in East Street. The proposed change of use would run counter to this policy and should be resisted. John Steele Secretary, Planning Sub Committee
