I am writing on behalf of the Horsham Society to
object to this application. Rushams Road is
highlighted in the Horsham Town Design Statement
for its characteristic "Between the Wars" style
and the issues for development are said to be
"conversions...which may be unsightly" and the use
of front gardens for parking. It is noted that the
front garden has already been paved over. The
proposed south facing dormer will be prominently
visible from the front, be unsightly and adversely
affect the street scene, and would unbalance the
appearance of this pair of semi detached
properties.
