Comments: |
I am writing on behalf of the Horsham Society to
object to this application. The proposals are
inappropriate to this location and would lead to
overdevelopment of the site and seriously worsen
the already difficult parking situation in the
vicinity. Neither is the design is our opinion of
appropriate quality. The solar panels would be
particularly unsightly and demonstrate the need
for a new approach to building design if modern
technology is to be inconspicuously incorporated,
rather than being an ugly afterthought as it is
here. We note that the applicant owns the whole
site including the frontage to Bishopric. In our
view the only way in which the desired
intensification of use might be appropriately
achieved would be through a complete
redevelopment.`
