Comments:

I am writing on behalf of the Horsham Society to say that we have a firm policy of objecting to the unnecessary removal or pruning of mature trees (particularly forest trees) that, as in this case, make a significant contributon to the overall street scene. Whilst we accept that in this case some thinning is probably necessary we ask that it be kept to the minimum required to allow the remaining trees to continue to develop in a healthy manner
