Comments:

I am writing on behalf of the Horsham Society to object to this proposal. Guildford Road is one of the primary access routes to the town and therefore it is particularly important that development is sympathetic and of high design quality. In our view the proposal would lead to overdevelopment of the site and the design would give an odd appearance to what is now a well proportioned house. The plans themselves are inconsistent in their portrayal of the height of the dormer windows. In some representations they are shown well below ridge height, in others level with the ridge tiles. The latter, if approved, would be particularly inappropriate. John Steele Secretary, Planning Sub Committee
